You may use this page to check the taxonomy of the taxa you are interested in.
First choose a database,
then give a species/taxon name and
a depth for tree display.
For example you may select mammalia with a depth equal
to 3 in GenBank.
Warning:
you may give only one full species name at a time.
This form allows you to retrieve all gene families that are shared
by a given set of taxa (list 1) and that are not associated
with another set of taxa (list2). Any taxonomic level can be used and
mixed to compose the query (e.g., Homo sapiens, Primate, Mammalian, etc. ).
The first set of taxa (list 1) can be used for an
"inclusive"
or
"exclusive"
selection of families.
Warning: each line of the "Taxa list" area must contain only a single taxon
name.
