NB: all human sequences are retrieved from GenBank (see current release). To blast your sequence against all publicly available human genomic sequences, select database #5. This database contains all human sequences from GenBank (except ESTs and GSSs): genomic DNA (finished or draft sequences) and cDNA sequences.
Choose the program to use and the database to search:
Program: blastn tblastn Database: 1: Human ESTs 2: Human GSSs (genome survey seq.) 3: Human HTG (genome draft seq.) 4: other human (all but ESTs, HTGs, GSSs) 5: Human DNA and cDNA = 3 + 4
The query sequence is filtered for low complexity regions by default
