Who's who at PBIL
This WWW server undergoes constant modifications and improvements.
We would like you to let us know if you encounter problems or have
suggestions on how to improve it. You may contact the following
persons by Email, depending on the type of comments or questions
you have. We will forward your message to the right person if
necessary.
- Guy Perrière is the
webmaster of this site so ask him if anything goes wrong! He is also the
one who has developed the WWW-Query
retrieval system and the EMGLib and
HOBACGEN databases.
- Manolo Gouy is the head
of the part devoted to nucleic acids sequence analysis and molecular
evolution studies. He is the one to ask about the ACNUC
sequence database management system, the SeaView,
NJplot and Unrooted
programs.
- Gilbert Deléage is the head of
the part devoted to protein sequence analysis and protein structure prediction.
He is the one to ask about
Antheprot
software.
- Christophe Geourjon is in
charge of the development of protein structure prediction methods such
as SOPMA.
- Christophe Blanchet is developing
the MPSA system, a software integrating
many methods and tools devoted to protein sequence analysis.
- Christophe Combet is developing
new releases of the NPS@ part of PBIL.
- Laurent Duret
has developed the Hovergen
databases as well as the LalnView program.
- Jean Thioulouse, Daniel Chessel and
Sylvain Dolédec
have developed the ADE-4 software.

Simon Penel is working on the PBIL web server and its associated WWW applications and is developing HoGenom, a
database of homologous gene families from fully sequenced organisms.
