PhEVER is structured under the ACNUC sequence database management system. Therefore, all available tools
for ACNUC managed databases can be used to query PhEVER. Here are some

Query PhEVER using web applications
- Search for sequences or families by combining several criteria
using WWW-Query.
- Search for families containing several taxa using Cross-taxa Search.
Query PhEVER using
standalone software
PhEVER can also be queried on its remote server through the use of
standalone software:
- the terminal-based remote ACNUC
retrieval system query.
- the graphical user interface remote ACNUC
retrieval system QUERY_WIN.
- the seqinR package for R.
If you are a developer, you might also want to have a look at the

language API as well as the Python
API to remotely access ACNUC
databases.
