I'm Marc Bailly-Bechet, based in Lyon (France) and working in the Université Lyon 1 since September 2008. Physicist by training, I am assistant professor in bioinformatics and biostatistics in the lab of Biometry and Evolutive Biology, in Manolo Gouy's team.
My research focuses around genomic evolution in bacteria and viruses, in particular regarding host-virus interactions; my favourite tools are large-scale biological data analysis and modelling at the genomic scale.
