IMGT/GENE-DB is part of IMGT, the international ImMunoGeneTics information system®, the high-quality integrated knowledge resource specializing in immunoglobulins (IG), T cell receptors (TR), major histocompatibility complex (MHC), and related proteins of the immune system (RPI), of human and other vertebrate species.

IMGT/GENE-DB is a comprehensive database of immunoglobulin and T cell receptor genes from human and mouse and, in developement, from other vertebrates, on the Web since February 2003. In October 2003, IMGT/GENE-DB contained 1375 (673 human, 702 mouse) IG and TR genes, and 2201 (1024 human, 1177 mouse) alleles.
