This form allows you to search for coding regions (CDS or exon) in a sequence.
The program used is RecSta and its algorithm is based on Correspondence
Analysis. The parameters for RecSta are the name of the sequence, the length of
the sliding window for the analysis, the length of the shift between the
windows, and the number of the genetic code used
in the organism studied. Note that the shift size must be a multiple of 3 in a
way to ensure that all the windows included in a gene (or an exon) will be in
the same frame. A sample sequence taken from E.coli is available
here.
