Dear collegues,
with ADE it is quite easy to arrange an ordination of sites into groups.
With stars or confidence ellipses it is seen how far these groups are
similar or distinct.
In a statistical way I support that graphical analysis with a test of
significance, like ANOVA or a non parametric test, to point out
significant differences between groups in respect to some axes.
My questions:
Do you have any experiences with that qualitative interpretation of
ordination results, is there any support by ADE-4, do you know any
references dealing with that problem?
