Analysing the structure of the DNA using haplotyped sequences of SNPs and other markers from various populations is of wide current intrerest. The so-called haplotype blocks are one of the concepts recently proposed for describing DNA structures. The talk describes some combinatorial and statistical algorithms and visualizations under development for haplotype analysis. Examples of analysis results uncovering the mosaic-like structure of haplotype samples are shown.
